MGbot and AI privacy notice

MGbot is an artificial intelligence assistant. You are interacting with an automated system, not Eng. Madaro. Answers are general information, may be inaccurate and are not professional advice or an engineering opinion.

Controller and recipients

Eng. Francesco Madaro, Madaro Global, VAT no. 05321890757, Lecce, Italy. Contact: info@madaroglobal.com or certified email fmadaro@pec.it. The question passes through the Aruba-hosted app.madaroglobal.com service and is sent to the OpenAI API to generate a reply.

Data and purpose

The question text, reply, IP address and technical data needed for transmission, security and request limits may be processed to answer you and guide you through the site. Do not enter names, contact details, health or legal data, credentials, trade secrets or confidential documents. The interface does not keep a conversation history after you leave the page.

Your choice and legal basis

Chat use is optional. Before sending a question, we ask for an affirmative, separate, unchecked choice to transmit it to the AI service (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can browse or contact us without chat. You may withdraw consent by stopping use and contacting the controller about data already processed. Server security processing relies on a legitimate interest in protecting the service.

Retention and recipients

The current API code does not store questions in a Madaro Global database. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train models by default unless the customer opts in. Abuse monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days; Responses API application state may be retained for 30 days unless configured otherwise. The updated API prepared for migration sets store: false; its installation on the server must be checked. Aruba log periods and safeguards for any transfers outside the EEA must be verified with the providers and relevant agreements before public launch.

AI limitations

MGbot uses a Madaro Global knowledge base and an OpenAI model. It does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on visitors. Contact Madaro Global directly for a technical assessment of your case. Any AI used during a professional engagement will be explained separately to that client.

Rights

You can exercise GDPR rights, including access, erasure and withdrawal of consent, by contacting the controller. You may complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority. See also the general privacy notice.
